Why play USSSA Baseball?
There are several answers to this question. First USSSA’s slogan is “more baseball for more kids.” USSSA offers competition in four classifications. There is a level for all kids to play. The A level includes drafted league teams where parity and distribution of talent is the goal. The AA Level is for tournament teams chosen from these leagues. The AAA Level is designed for competitive teams that are selected to travel to tournaments. The Major level is for the top teams in the state. These teams are formed with the idea of participating in and winning World Series events held at various locations each year.
With USSSA there is an opportunity to play teams from across the country and with the USSSA classification system, you can be assured that you are on equal footing when traveling to National Events.
There is also an opportunity for all teams in Pennsylvania to compete for a State Championship.
In Addition since USSSA is a national organization costs for tournaments are often less that other options.
